Randy Boothe, Artistic Director, 19??-present

Randy co-directed Light of the World, presented by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for the 2002 Olympic Winter Games. Featuring a cast of 1,500, Light of the World was presented to more than 300,000 in 17 live performances.

In July of 1997, he directed the Sesquicentennial Spectacular, Faith In Every Footstep, featuring a cast of 6,000 performers in BYU’s Cougar Stadium.

Currently an Associate Professor in the BYU School of Music and Artistic Director for the world-renowned Young Ambassadors, Randy’s international tours over the past 26 years have taken him to more than 40 countries.

Randy has also directed for Walt Disney Productions, Jackson Hole Playhouse, and the Young Ambassadors Singing Entertainer Workshop. He has also produced Christmas and summer shows for Promised Valley Playhouse in Salt Lake City.

Randy adjudicates for show choir competitions and has lectured in Thailand, Morocco, Russia, Hong Kong and in numerous universities and high schools in the United States. His compositions and arrangements have been published, widely performed and recorded.
