Fall 2006: Here is everything you need to know about the 2006 Homecoming Activities (Oct. 17-21, 2006) planned for YA alumni.

1. Homecoming Dinner/Buffet. Friday, Oct. 20, 2006 at 5 p.m.
Friday evening before the Homecoming Spectacular, the BYU Alumni Association hosts a Homecoming dinner for all alumni. Enjoy a casual dinner/buffet in the WSC Ballroom with lively entertainment. The cost is $10 a person. We will have a section reserved for the YA alumni and their families/friends. To order use the enclosed form or go to http://yaalumni.aa.byu.edu. Click on "YA Alumni Homecoming Weekend." Please order by Oct. 7.

2. BYU Homecoming Spectacular. Friday, Oct. 20, 2006 at 7:30 p.m.
We have an early bird ticket special available for the Friday evening Spectacular performance for just $12, plus $1 postage and processing fee at http://yaalumni.aa.byu.edu. The deadline for block seating with our group is Oct. 7. If you buy tickets before Oct. 7, we will attend the show together in our reserved section. After Oct. 7, you can still get tickets (not in our section however) by calling (801) 422-BYU1 with extra fees, or you can buy them at the window for just $12. Join us!

3. "Linger Longer" Ice Cream Social. Friday, Oct. 20, 2006 after the Spectacular.
We have the Cougar Room set aside at the Marriott Center on the main floor by the ticket window, exclusively for Young Ambassadors and their families and friends, for the 2nd Annual YA Ice Cream Social. Whether or not you attend the Spectacular, please join us around 9 p.m. for a free ice cream sundae while catching up and watching old YA footage. You can also bid on silent auction items donated by Diamond Rio, old Young Ambassador tour/music paraphernalia, and other treasures, with the proceeds going to the YA Alumni Association chapter. Sounds like fun—and if you have items to add to the auction, we want to hear from you.

4. YA Show DVD's from Your Year
We have also started compiling video footage of each year’s show and we are making DVD copies that will be for sale ($10) at the Ice Cream Social. We already have show copies from the years 1978, 1979, 1980 China, 1980 Egypt, 1981, 1982, 1983, and 1984.
