Other

Parents of 4 sons, Dave is an attorney in Walnut Creek, and Bishop of our home ward. Debbie has done commercial acting, vocal teaching, and choreographing in the Bay area, and teaches performing arts. Dave and Debbie co-direct a youth performing co, “Showbiz” (For 21 years now)-the group performs and takes donations to the charity organizations we visit (11 tours across the US and Mexico). Recorded album “Love Lift Me Up.” Dave continues to write songs, and is well known for having the coolest sound and lighting equipment for youth dances, but is most famous around the campfire with favorites such as “Numb Bum!” Bromleys continue to teach and perform in various capacities, and especially enjoy sharing the love of performing as a family. Josh and Jacob (returned missionaries)and Jordan (currently serving in Brazil)have all been attending BYU and have enjoyed taking turns participating with YAs for the last few years. Josh will be attending Law school in the fall of 2010.

Bromleys are very thankful for the legacy YA’s has been in their lives. We started “Showbiz” so we could give our own kids, and other youth a taste of the blessings that we gained from YA’s: confidence, understanding the positive power of music, developing talents, learning to work hard to reach a goal, serving the community, testimony, etc. Fun fact: we actually own the original “Raise a Ruckus” costumes! That number has become a favorite of our group over the years, and has been re-vamped and performed for countless Childrens hospitals, boys and girls clubs, orphanages, retirement communities, and other organizations across the U,S. And Mexico. The slow motion fight is still a classic crowd pleaser:) Some of our former students are paying the blessings forward by continuing to perform, teach, starting groups of their own, as well as going on to participate in MDT and YA’s. A huge thank you to Randy, and all of the directors, for the gift you’ve given. It is exponential!
