Other

Since my Y.A. days, I've spent the majority of my time raising my 4 children, and being involved with their activities. I've spent many hours poolside running a swim team, coordinating a program for new swimmers in our backyard, and watching my children compete at swim meets & water-polo games. Our family has also been involved in musicals, piano lessons, scouting (we have 3 Eagle Scouts!), besides our demanding church callings. It's been a wonderful 26 years with our typical ups & downs, however, I wouldn't trade my life as a wife & mother for anything!

During my free time, I've been going to school to study photography/digital media. I hope to pursue a career in that area along with an interest in photo restoration. I've been fortunate enough to travel as a photographer with my husband & brother-in-law, to various parts of the world each summer.

I still love dancing, and have been involved with choreography, and teaching through the years within the church and community. After 13 years of teaching ballet, I hung up my toe shoes last year to pursue other interests. The love I have to dance will always be a part of me.

My greatest joy in life is to make others happy. My 2nd son is serving a mission in Brazil, and the light he shares with others is very evident in his testimony. I remember that feeling so well, as our YA group shared our testimonies through song (and dance), in Asia. It was one of the highlights of my life. Thanks for believing in me, Randy Boothe, and giving me that opportunity. It was the beginning of my adulthood and the foundation for who I am today.

I'd love to hear from you, especially my Y.A, friends from the 1979-80 group.

~Affectionately,
Denise (Croft) Shattuck
