I was basically the fill-in pianist for the Tennessee World's Fair group. What a great way to spend a summer!
My family and I have lived in Colorado Springs, CO and Fort Collins, CO where we annoyed the locals by cheering for BYU at football games! We've lived in American Fork, UT since 1995.
My musical pursuits have been pretty low-key. Besides the brief YA stint while at BYU, I was pianist for the BYU Vocal Jazz Ensemble for a couple of years and also briefly played in a dance band.
Since BYU, I have been a ward organist a number of times, and was blessed to be an organist at the Mt. Timpanogos temple for about 5 years. I occasionally play the piano at wedding receptions for friends or their children. (These days, the only way I can ensure that they get what they pay for is to do it for free! :-)
I have worked for Hewlett-Packard and Intel, but currently am working for a company named Smile Reminder and am enjoying the change that a smaller corporate culture provides.
I will never forget Tennessee, wearing the Kermit the Frog outfit for Rainbow Connection, and singing "I see a light within your eyes..." I am grateful for those memories.
