Although my family is all in the West, I ended up in the Northeast after BYU graduation in 1985 and have been here ever since. I guess I'm really a New Englander at heart, despite being a California native.
My post-graduate employment has ranged from selling cameras and teaching ballroom dancing to management consulting and software product management. I received an MBA from Wharton in 1990, and have been self-employed as a business and marketing consultant since 1999. I also teach an online class in Management Information Systems for UMass Lowell.
My latest entrepreneurial activities have involved online video. I have produced a few, and even entered and won a couple of contests. My site is videojester.com. You can see some of my videos on the My Videos page.
In the performing world, I've had a great time doing a variety of things, including:
* Performing with my wife and kids at the New England Folk Festival and on New Hampshire Public Radio
* Directing stake choirs and cantatas as the Stake Music Director
* Directing and writing lyrics for the play, "12 Angry Pigs: The Musical"
* Composing and arranging music for a variety of settings
* Taking on some roles in community theater, including the butler in "Jane Eyre," the Sheriff of Nottingham in "The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood," Admiral Juddy in "Rookery Nook," and Harry Witherspoon in "Lucky Stiff."
