Other

After graduating I did some professional theatre at AMTSJ (American Musical Theatre in San Jose), Tuacahn (of course) and then moved to NYC. I realized that NYC wasn't where the Lord wanted me to be when I got offered a role in a touring company and EVERYTHING in me said "Don't take it!" So I moved back to Utah, where I taught voice at BYU until my first baby was born. I then began just teaching at home.

In the meantime, I also started recording with a group called Providence (with 2 other former YA's--Kerilyn Johnson and Kelly Shepardson). We were signed with Deseret Book. That lasted until my husband and I decided to have him accept a job offer in MT. Bye bye Providence...for a time, anyway.

We lived in Billings and then Missoula. I would highly recommend visiting Missoula (ever seen "A River Runs Through It"?). Billings? Not so much. Loved the people, though. I did teach a voice class at a local community theatre in Billings until another job change moved us to Missoula.

I moved back to Utah the day after my husband passed away, with my two little girls and my baby on the way. I'm glad to be back! I love it here.

Life is interesting. All you can do is buckle up and enjoy the ride.
