After finishing my year with Young Ambassadors, I transferred to Utah State University and received my degree in Music Education. My first teaching job was in a middle school in Columbus, OH and while working there, I received my master's degree at Ohio State University. I was able to do some performing in Columbus as well. I moved back to Utah in 2001 and began teaching choir at American Fork Jr. High and private voice lessons. In Utah I had the opportunity to perform in "Savior of the World" and perform in some other local productions - it was so great to be singing again!

In September 2004, I met and started dating my amazing husband Neal. We were engaged in January 2005 and married in May 2005. May was a bit of a whirlwind month as Neal got a job with ATI Technologies in Marlborough, MA two weeks before we got married. So, we got married, moved cross country, went on our honeymoon, and started new jobs within the course of a month. Things have calmed down now and we are loving our new life out here. We have a great ward and I am enjoying teaching at a middle school in Sudbury, MA. The Boston area is a great deal of fun to explore and we especially love being so close to Neal's daughter Amanda - a sophomore at Boston University.
