Life is good. Busy, but good.

My beautiful wife Susan and I are the proud parents of three adorable daughters. Brooke is 11 this December, Holly just turned 8 and got baptized, and Katie is 4. We have really hit a nice stride in family life. No diapers or kids waking up during the night, and no teenagers who are embarrassed to hang out with the family. We are in the golden years (or something like that). We spend a lot of time together. Saturday mornings are spent doing chores, and then we head out to the backyard and play in the pool, bbq on the grill, and simply hang out together the rest of the day. Monday nights at our home are the highlight of the week. We love spending time with the family.

After performing with YAs I graduated from BYU with a degree in accounting, got my CPA license, and worked for KPMG for 3 years in Salt Lake. Then, we packed our things and moved to Boston where I attended the Harvard Business School. It was an incredible experience academically, but I also managed to get involved singing and performing. I was in the men’s acapella group “Heard On The Street.” We performed at various small functions and also recorded a couple of CDs. I was also the lead in the school comedy/musical. I was the “Dancing Dean” (spiff on Dancing Queen from ABBA). It was such a treat to be back on the stage again!

After finishing graduate school I joined a management consulting firm, The Boston Consulting Group. I worked for BCG first in Boston, then in Paris France, then back to Boston, and finally moved to Dallas. My family and I have really enjoyed our travels so far. We got to experience some amazing things and bring home some incredible souvenirs. For example, we moved to Paris with two daughters, and came home with three!

About two years ago I left the consulting world to join a consumer products company in Dallas. I started out responsible for Finance and Business Strategy, then took on Sales and Marketing, and was then promoted to President & CEO. We manufacture various household cleaning products, pet supplies, a few baby products, etc. and sell them through all the major retailers in the country like Wal-Mart, K-Mart, PetSmart, Petco, etc. etc. Some of our brand names include Simple Solution, Totally Toddler, Out!, to name a few. It was always a dream of mine to run a company, and I’m thoroughly enjoying it.

I’m not singing or performing near enough these days, but I do have a drum set and my daughters and I jam out from time to time.

Life is very good right now. I feel very blessed in so many ways. I wish the very best success to all of you in your individual pursuits.
