I spent a year in China as a professor at a university. After that, I went back to BYU for law school, where I was the Student Body President. After adopting my daughter Emma from China, we decided to move closer to family and as such have just recently moved to St. George, Utah after spending about 8 years in Los Angeles. I am practicing immigration law in St. George and trying to get used to the heat!

We recently added a new little guy to our family and he is such a joy. He comes from north/central China and is 3 years old. He and his vivacious sister, now 5 years old, are the light of my life...my miracles.

I give so much of the credit to the way my life is now to YAs. My first tour was to China, and I think it was meant to be...I fell in love with Asia, and eventually I was lead back there as a missionary and later to adopt my two amazing children!
