Profession: Profession: Teacher and director of theatre and choral music at Eisenhower High School in Yakima. This fall, Amy and I plan on taking over as owner/operator of The Melody Lane Academy of the Performing Arts. We hope to open our own theatre in 2-3 years as well. Come perform for us!
Other: After leaving BYU, Amy and I moved to Yakima to work in our family business (The Melody Lane Academy). Amy is the head ballet teacher there. I started to teach music and drama in a private school and found out that I really liked it. I went back for 1 1/2 more years of school and got my teaching degree. Since then I have had a great time teaching high school theatre and music! Some of the shows I have been lucky to direct have been "Beauty and the Beast," "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat," "See How They Run," "Forever Plaid," and "Pillow Talk." It's been great. I've been performing quite a bit in our local theatre here as well, and have been Curly in "Oklahoma," Pharoah in "Joseph," and in my personal favorite, "The Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged." With a wife, 3 kids and a mortgage, life stays pretty busy. I miss you all! Email me.
